I am slowly but surely on the path of Teacherdom... And one thing I can't wait for is coming home with those hilarious stories starting out like this.. "You will not believe what this kid said today."
I had the opportunity to visit some kids (second and third grade) and ask them a few simple yet complex questions. The responses were to die for...

What is Credibility?
Response:
"God is responsible and has, like, credibility. And all that faith and stuff and all those 10 commandments He can do."
What is Responsibility (AKA Chores)?
"I always get tired and I have a lot of, like, little bits of pieces like Legos. Theyre little--theyre really tiny, so its, like, it takes a long time to get them. And I get tired and Im like, Mom, I want to play Wii."
What is Accountability (Why is it hard) ?
"Accountability is hard because if youre the oldest, you have, like, a lot of responsibilities, you have to do a lot of chores and stuff instead of playing when you want to like the other ones."
What is Jello?
"Probably like a little thing flying through space that I eat and is very wiggly, wobbly."
What do you like about Cotton Candy?
"I like it because its just pure sugar."--- At Least he is honest
Who is the most Credible person you know?
Amazing Answer: "The most credible person I know is Jesus because hes perfect."
Classic Answer: "The most incredible person I know is a girl named Georgie."--- Please note she responded with the word Incredible haha
Why do you not like doing your chores?
"You have to bend down." Haha I hear Ya Girl!

Great Finds and Great Times
We have two things to discuss today.
Topic Number One: What's holding you together?
For me, today - Its Gaff Tape (Glorified Duct Tape for use in the production world)
As you avid readers know, I was in a finder bender the other day and well more than my finder got bent. Some lights popped out and some things got cracked. On the side where the grass is greener.. My boss is a professional Gaff tape user and fixed me up real nice.
Topic Number Two: I dip, you dip, we dip
If any of you know anything about me and my family at all you will know that we own stock in ketchup. Burgers, hotdogs, fries, eggs, peas etc. You name it we eat it with ketchup - and when i say ketchup I mean one serving consist of 1/4th of the bottle. So you can try but I promise you can not understand the excitement I had today when I discovered this little jewel.
No longer do ketchup users have to struggle with the small amount of ketchup that is actually in the packets or the fact that it was in virtually useless little packets. Heinz - You have outdone yourself this time.
Thank you Chick-Fil-A for always going above and beyond.
Side Note: My mother does not like ketchup - How she has survived in this family? We don't know.

I am the proud driver of a Luxury vehicle that is duct taped together... Pure class :)

Where Does Your Glass Stand?
It has been an interesting couple of days.
Tuesday I woke up to the brakes in my car sounding terrible, scary actually. So I took my car to the shop on Wednesday and found out my rotor had completely snapped. Thanks to Bobby Deal and his team they got me up and running.
Following that I got myself in an accident. I hit a lady on the back right side of her car. Everybody was A ok and that is the important thing. However, at the time I did not see it that way. I cried and thought "are you kidding me" I just got my car out of the shop.
On a much lesser note I attempted to make Homemade pizza on Tuesday and burnt it and all I could do was pout.
It is needless to say I have my priorities way out line. In a previous post I talked about your glass being half full, and lately my attitude has been half empty.
The Lesson Learned: Life is full of ups and downs its all about how you handle them. Laugh when your pizza burns, thank God when everybody is ok after a wreck and for those who have been given the skill to fix broken parts. Most importantly thank God for those around you who love you and hug you and say it is gonna be fine.

YOU GOTTA HAVE FAITH! - This seems to be a recurring message in my life.
Crosspoint talked about it last week and my Daily Word talk about it today. Maybe I am starting to catch the hint. So often we try and put things in our own hands and wonder why they always slips through our fingers. We must make an attempt everyday to give up all of our worries, all of our concerns - They don't have to be ours.
If you have faith and do not doubt ... even if you say to this mountain, "Be lifted up and thrown into the sea," it will be done.--Matthew 21:21

All Play and No Work
Well that is not entirely true. We started the day off with some work.
However, on January 6, 2010 my Boss decided to have a Day O Fun, team building experience or just and excuse to act like a kid again... So we did.
And Loved it!
We were welcomed by a driver... I began to think "Are we gonna drink on this day out?" Neat..
He tried to say it quietly but when there is a surprise in the air I am all ears - I heard him say "We are going to the foundry"




And what a great day it was.

This is an old stove factory that has been transformed into this really neat restaurant and shopping venue.

We had lunch at Saffire - I am sure our waitress thought we were nuts but needless to say we were all in a very good mood.

It was following this nothing but delicious meal that Joel dropped the bomb on us.. We are painting pottery.
And so we did
We are still now sure where Joel got the motivation for this one..
Josh - Well he is just a suck up :)
Jason painted a cat for his little girl! It actually turned out better than expected.

All this hard work got us hungry for desert. So what is more perfect on a cold day than Ice Cream?
It was off to Sweet CeCe's for a bowl of Oh so Good, Yogurt :)
